As our family and I reflect on the past 65 years since our parents first business venture as a concrete block manufacturer in Gallitzin, PA, we are indeed overwhelmed by what has unfolded over these many years.
It is humbling to look back at the obstacles, pitfalls, mountains and whatever else we may have had to negotiate over, through, or around to become the success we are today. My family recognizes that we could not have accomplished much if anything if it wasn’t for the unwavering support of a host of people ---beginning with our dedicated and hardworking employees, to our loyal customers, to the financial institutions, to our suppliers who worked with us so that we could provide quality products at competitive pricing, and to our consultants and advisors.
So, to all of you who have interacted with our family in this long journey, we offer a heartfelt “Thank You” for your significant contribution in facilitating the growth and diversification of The DeGol Organization throughout our years of operation. And, we thank God for giving us this opportunity.
We remain committed to being the best we can be with all of our varied businesses, and my siblings and I take seriously our responsibility to train and instill in the next generation the many virtues that our parents passed along to us. We realize that we cannot become complacent, so we continue to look for the right opportunities to expand our existing companies and consider new ventures, ever mindful, as our Dad would always remind us, to stick close to the building supply industry that we know best.
