As the number of area building construction projects continued to increase, the DeGol’s began manufacturing vinyl window products in 1994. Under the direction of Bruno DeGol, Jr., the business first occupied an 18,000 sq. ft. plant and employed just seven people; in 1996, it moved to a 48,000 sq ft facility in Patton, PA. During the fall of 2000, Seven D Industries’ window division began development of another production facility, located on an eighteen and one-half acre site in Huntingdon, PA. Although the business initially focused on the western Pennsylvania market, it now serves retail lumber yards, manufactured housing facilities, and other distributors in a five-state region. The division’s comprehensive line of fine quality window products includes single hungs, double hungs, sliders, casements, awnings, patio doors, and custom architectural window components. In 2000 alone, Seven D Industries produced more than 100,000 window units.
In the fall of 2008, Seven D Industries Window division consolidated all of its manufacturing plants into a single facility in the DeGol Industrial Center in Hollidaysburg, PA. The plant features the latest in manufacturing technology and state-of-the-art, computer-driven systems to insure quality control, allowing its well-trained staff to maximize production.
